The Rectory Office will be closed on Monday Jan. 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day and on Wednesday Jan. 20, 2021 for Inauguration Day. Only the 8AM Mass will be celebrated on these two days.
Fellow parishioners, you are encouraged to join the Sodality in a Novena to Mary, who is Patroness of the United States under her title the Immaculate Conception. The Novena precedes Inauguration Day and begins Monday, January 11, 2021, and ends on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
We have been working closely with the Department of Health and Human Services and per their recommendations our rectory and sanctuary are safe to reopen on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
Dear St. Michael the Archangel Parish Community, I write to inform you that I have self-reported a positive test result for COVID-19 today, December 7, 2020. I want to share the following steps we are taking to minimize the impact in our parish and workplace and to keep all employees and parishioners healthy and safe.
The renovation of the church pews is complete, creating a beautiful space for all to worship. We are thankful to everyone who has contributed to support this project. To date, we have raised $16,445 (13%) of the $127,100 total project cost.
Recently, we learned that exposure to the Corona virus (COVID-19) in our faith community has occurred. As cases of the virus continue to increase in our state, county and community, we ask you to please follow these precautions to keep our parish safe.
Our next Catholic Charities Food Drive will be held on November 28 & 29. Please bring your donations of non-perishable food items and drop them in the boxes found in the vestibule of the church.

On November 10, the Vatican released the Report detailing the Vatican’s knowledge, decision-making, and investigation related to former Cardinal Theodore Edgar McCarrick from the years of 1930 to 2017. After his complete reading of the report, Washington Cardinal-Designate Wilton Gregory today released this statement.
A prayer intention uniquely for our times is requested by Pope Francis for the month of November 2020 – “Artificial Intelligence: We pray that the progress of robotics and artificial intelligence may always serve humankind.” The Sodality with our fellow parishioners make a mighty prayer team for Pope Francis, especially when praying the Rosary!

The founder of the Knights of Columbus, The Venerable Servant of God, Father Michael J. McGivney will be beatified by Pope Francis on October 31 at 11:00 AM EDT in the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford, Ct.
